PAYMENT INFORMATION AND GIFT CARDS

1. WEBSITE ORDERS:

michaelkors.co.uk accepts the following payment type for online purchases:

• American Express
• Visa
• MasterCard
• Maestro
• PayPal
• Klarna
• Michael Kors Gift Card

If paying by card or PayPal, an authorization hold for the total amount of your order is placed on the payment method at the time of order placement, but you will not be charged until your order ships. If your payment is not authorized you will receive a message on the checkout page to try another form of payment. For Collect in Store orders, a payment authorization will be placed at the time of purchase and held until you are charged for the order at the time of collection.

Our checkout process uses Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey, where applicable, to verify your online transaction.

Please note that not all payment methods can be used for every type of order – the payment methods applicable to your order will be displayed at checkout.

Klarna offers different payment options based on the customer’s billing address and transaction amount. For United Kingdom, the following payment methods are available:

• Pay Later: The payment period offered is 30 days from shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service.
• Pay Over Time: With the service from Klarna you can pay for your purchase in 3 interest-free instalments over 60 days according to the conditions stated in the checkout.

The payment methods Pay Later and Pay Over Time are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. Further information about Klarna and the user terms per country can be found on klarna.com.

Please also note in the event that you wish to return an item, any orders paid for by PayPal that are returned in store for refund can only be refunded to gift card or cash.

Purchases made by Klarna cannot be returned to store. They can only be returned by post.

michaelkors.co.uk accepts the following payment type for purchases placed through our in-store assisted selling tool:

3. GIFT CARDS AND E-GIFT CARDS

A Michael Kors gift card is guaranteed to delight. Choose between a Classic Gift Card and an E-Gift Card. Classic Gift Cards ship in accordance with our Shipping & Delivery Information, while E-Gift Cards are generally emailed the same day and ready to use within 24 hours. You may check the balance of your Michael Kors Classic Gift Card or your Michael Kors E-Gift Card (each referred to here as a “Gift Card”) at any time by visiting a participating Michael Kors retail store or by contacting our customer services team.

Please note: At this time, we do not offer for sale using our in-store assisting selling tool any Michael Kors Classic Gift Card or Michael Kors E-Gift Cards. You may, however, redeem your Michael Kors Gift Card using our in-store assisting selling tool.

GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your purchase or use of a Gift Card is subject to the following terms and conditions:

• The gift card will expire after 36 months following the card’s issuance.
• The gift card is redeemable for merchandise purchased at any freestanding Michael Kors store and at any participating, official Michael Kors website (subject to the website's shipping and other policies).
• It should be presented at the time of purchase and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
• We cannot replace lost or stolen cards unless required by law.
• Treat this card like cash
• We may issue a replacement card for the remaining balance.

• For card balance inquiries, check at a participating store or by contacting our customer services team
• Your consumer rights are not impaired by the above. This card is issued by Michael Kors (UK) Limited.

Please note: virtual gift cards purchased from michaelkors.de may only be redeemed in freestanding Michael Kors stores in Germany or on www.michaelkors.de. Virtual gift cards purchased from michaelkors.fr may only be redeemed in freestanding Michael Kors stores in France or on www.michaelkors.fr.

*Michael Kors Gift Cards are not accepted in any Michael Kors travel retail stores, such as airports and cruise ships.

How do I use my Classic Gift Card to make purchases at michaelkors.co.uk?

To apply the balance of a Gift Card to an online purchase at michaelkors.co.uk, simply enter the gift card number and PIN in the appropriate fields in the payment stage of our checkout process. On a Michael Kors Classic Gift Card, the gift card number and the PIN are on the back of the physical card. The gift card number and the PIN for a Michael Kors E-Gift Card can be found in the copy of the E-Gift Card sent via email to the recipient.

How do I use my E-Gift Card in a Michael Kors store?

To redeem a Michael Kors E-Gift Card at a Michael Kors retail store, print out the Michael Kors E-Gift Card email and present it at the time of purchase. Please ensure that your print-out includes a barcode, the gift card number and the PIN (or that you know the PIN) at the time of the purchase.

How do I use my Gift Card to make purchases using the in-store assisted selling tool?

To apply the balance of a Gift Card to a purchase, simply present the gift card number and PIN at the payment stage of the checkout process. On a Michael Kors Classic Gift Card, the gift card number and the PIN are on the back of the physical card. Can I use both a Gift Card and another payment method to pay for an order?

If you are using both a Gift Card and another payment method to pay for an order, the full Gift Card value will be deducted first, and then the balance will be paid using another payment method. For online returns only, if you are returning any item that was in whole or in part paid for using a Gift Card, the amount contributed to the payment via Gift Card will be credited to you via a new E-Gift Card.

When purchasing a Gift Card, is there a maximum value for the Gift Card?

The total Gift Card amount cannot exceed £2,000.00 per card or £10,000.00 purchase of Gift Card value (across a number of Gift Cards) in any single transaction.

Can I purchase Gift Cards using a Gift Card?

At this time, we do not allow Gift Cards to be purchased using another Gift Card as payment.

Will I be able to apply any coupons or promotions to a purchase of a Gift Card?

Generally, coupons, discounts and other promotions cannot be applied to the purchase of Gift Cards.

Are Michael Kors Gift Cards subject to the same shipping and returns policies as other merchandise purchased on michaelkors.co.uk?

Shipping of Michael Kors Classic Gift Cards is subject to the same shipping policies as other Michael Kors merchandise purchased at michaelkors.co.uk.

For Michael Kors E-Gift Cards, if you choose to receive a copy via email of the E-Gift Card you sent to someone else, you will receive a confirmation email once the E-Gift Card is sent via email to its intended recipient. In general, the E-Gift Card is sent via email to the recipient after your online order with us is placed.

Michael Kors will not be responsible for delivery of the Michael Kors E-Gift Card to an incorrect yet deliverable email address, or to a non-existent email address, as provided by the purchaser.

The standard Michael Kors Returns & Exchanges Policy applies to any products purchased with a Michael Kors Gift Card, as well as the purchase of Gift Cards themselves (except where a card has been opened, activated, used or its performance has otherwise begun). Any requested refunds of purchases made with your E-Gift Card will be refunded back to E-Gift Card.
